Projects Under MOCTCA
Tourism for Rural Poverty Alleviation Programme (TRPAP)
The Programme has been designed to contribute to the poverty alleviation objective of the government through review and formulation of policy and strategic planning for sustainable tourism development that is pro-poor, pro-environment, pro-rural communities and pro-women. To achieve this goal, the programme has set 3 objectives:

To demonstrate sustainable tourism development models for policy feedback
To develop institutional mechanisms for the sustenance of tourism development in Nepal
To support the government to review and formulate sustainable tourism development policies and strategies and integrate them with wider conservation objectives
